Gel for nail extensions LUNA Premium Gel 2 milky 100 ml (323-2583-1526)

Classic LUNA Premium Gel is a polymer, light-curing material that, thanks to its strength, allows significant nail plate extension. It contains photoinitiators that start the polymerization process when exposed to ultraviolet light of a specific wavelength.

Advantages:

• Shock-absorbing — does not crack upon impact.
• Medium-thick consistency.
• Medium pigmentation, covers the free edge.
• Suitable for no-file extension technique.
• Suitable for upper forms technique.
• Does not cause burning sensation in the lamp.
• Becomes thicker in cold temperatures and thinner in warmth.
• Thixotropic — becomes thinner when moved with a brush during application.
• Can be slightly warmed to achieve a thinner consistency.
• Hard at 1 mm thickness. If thinner than 1 mm, it may flex slightly but this does not affect wear.
• No shrinkage, holds the arch well.
• Requires a Rubber Base underlayer.
• Polymerization wavelength: 365–405 nm.
• UV/LED lamp power: 36–48W.
• Recommended thickness: 0.5 mm at the free edge / 1 mm at the apex.
• Full curing time: 120 seconds.

Application Method:

Strengthening:

1. Remove previous coating.
2. Do not file the nail shape or leave 2 mm of length to refine after leveling.
3. File with a 220-grit file without strong pressure, lifting the nail plate scales, or use a 100-grit buffer.
4. Perform manicure.
5. If removers were used, wash hands with soap afterward.
6. Degrease the nail using Nail Prep LUNAmoon (two steps, 4 wipes total; one wipe per 5 fingers). First — wipe the surface. Second — wrap a wipe around an orange stick and clean the cuticle area and sidewalls.
7. Primer is optional if the base used underneath has sufficient acidity.
8. Apply Rubber Base LUNAmoon with a flat gel brush using rubbing motions. Cover sidewalls and cure for 60 seconds.
9. Remove sticky layer.
10. Level with gel, keeping 0.5–1 mm distance from the cuticle. Cure 60 seconds.
11. Refine the shape after leveling to create thickness at the free edge.
12. If the natural nail is thin, remove 1 mm from underneath to prevent lifting.
13. Remove stickiness and apply gel polish.
14. Apply top coat. Cure 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing to preserve shine.

Classic Extension:

1. Remove previous coating.
2. Shorten nail to 1 mm and shape round.
3. File with 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer without strong pressure.
4. Perform manicure.
5. Wash hands if removers were used.
6. Degrease with Nail Prep LUNAmoon (two-step method as above).
7. Apply LUNAmoon primer.
8. Apply Rubber Base LUNAmoon, cure 60 seconds.
9. Remove sticky layer.
10. Apply nail extension form.
11. Build free edge with clear gel, cure 30 seconds.
12. File and shape the nail.
13. Remove stickiness and dust.
14. Apply Rubber Base again to filed areas, cure 30 seconds.
15. Level with gel, place in lamp and pinch at 10–15 seconds (20 seconds if highly sticky or glitter gel).
16. Fully cure for 120 seconds.
17. Remove sticky layer before gel polish application.
18. Apply top coat, cure 120 seconds. Do not wipe after curing.
