Acrygel DNKa
Acrylic gel that makes wishes come true
Acrylic gel is a universal material that allows you to easily model using stencils or molds, giving a very natural look and correcting the architecture of natural nails. With this product, you can easily strengthen and restore your nails, as well as repair damaged edges or cracks. Due to its soft, self-leveling consistency, this material is easy to work with and reduces the need for excessive filing. It is easily distributed over the surface with a soft brush and a special liquid and does not cause a burning sensation during polymerization. After drying it leaves a slightly sticky layer. Due to its low acid content, liquid acrylic gel is completely safe for nails. Suitable for thin and sensitive nails, has a medium consistency. It perfectly aligns and strengthens both short and long nails. The gel does not deform when worn and retains perfect shine until correction. For better adhesion to the nail plate, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of DNKa Rubber Base as a primer.
Application technology:
- Perform the usual nail preparation: remove the previous coating, polish the surface, give the nails the desired shape and perform a manicure.
- Apply DNKa' Ultrabond, an acid-free primer for added adhesion.
- Apply a layer of DNKa' Rubber/Fiber Base using a rubbing motion. Cure 1 minute in UV lamp, 30 seconds in LED/hybrid lamp.
- Using a spatula or orange pen, take the required amount of DNA acrylic gel and apply it to your nail.
- Using a brush moistened with degreaser, smooth the material over the nail plate until completely smooth. If necessary, blot excess liquid on the brush with a lint-free cloth or paper towel.
- Cure in a UV lamp - 2 minutes, LED / hybrid lamp - 60 seconds. Remove the dispersion layer with a degreaser.
- File the nail if necessary. Then the nail can be coated with DNKa' Cover Base/DNKa' Builder Gel/DNKa' Gel Polish or DNKa' Top.
The main advantages of DNKa Acrigel for nails:
- allows the nail plate to “breathe”, which does not lead to its deformation, delamination, brittleness and yellowing;
- all components of this material smooth out the nails, creating a perfectly smooth surface on which the polish ideally lies;
- Polygel does not injure nails, but rather nourishes them, strengthens them and prevents the appearance of cracks;
- has no unpleasant odor;
- nails look natural after treatment with acrylic gel;
- Polygel is a very thick gel that works as well as an acrylic “ball”;
- Polymerization of the polygel occurs only under a UV lamp. This allows the master not to lay out the material in a hurry;
- Polygel does not cake when dried in a lamp, which makes it ideal for building or strengthening thin, delicate nails;
- much better than gel, suitable for filing without generating a lot of fine dust, which harms the health of the respiratory tract of the master and the client.
Every girl strives to keep her nails beautiful and healthy, but no one is immune from small problems. One careless movement of the hand and a long nail breaks along the growth line, which means that you will now have to cut all your nails. Modern materials and the latest manicure technologies can help solve this problem, and there are several methods for this. One of the most effective and new methods is nail repair with acrylic gel. Repairing nails with acrylic gel involves applying a thin but durable material to the damaged area, which reliably fixes the broken segment. In this case, the manicure will look like new again, and the place where the nail is chipped will no longer be visible at all.
- A head-on collision often results in the formation of a transverse crack. In this case, silk strips are usually used. Apply to nail glue, which has previously been filed in the area of the crack and allowed to dry. Then a strip of the required width is cut out of silk on the adhesive surface and glued to the tear. For deep cracks, for better fixation, you can use two silk strips lying on top of each other. The main emphasis here is on the amount of glue, it should be sufficient, but not get on the skin. An activator can be used to speed up the hardening of the glue.
- If the nail is chipped, you need to use the extension method. For this, a new product is used - polygel or gel. Repair consists of several successive stages:
- Preparation for applying polygel Thorough degreasing of the nail plate;
- Sanding the damaged area to lift the nail fibers so that the materials adhere better;
- Filling the crack with acrylic gel followed by drying under a UV lamp;
- upon completion of the repair, the master polishes the repaired nail.
After any type of repair, a base coat is applied to the nails, followed by a polish of the chosen color.

What tools are needed for manicure?
For a manicure you will need a whole set of manicure tools. These materials can be purchased individually or in sets. It is very important that the set includes nail and cuticle scissors, manicure scissors, orange sticks and files with various abrasive effects. Different types of files are used for different purposes: for processing artificial nails, files with a coarse abrasive are used, for natural nails, files with a fine abrasive are used. Manicure files can be diamond coated, ceramic or sapphire. They are used to treat hard nails. You can purchase tools in specialized stores, for example, Tufishop .
To remove cuticles, you will need cuticle remover and a nail pusher. The remover helps soften the cuticle and separate cuticle debris from the nail plate. A manicure stick helps gently push back the skin and remove cuticles. For professional purposes, metal spatulas are used, but for home use it is better to use wooden sticks (orange).
The next important product for manicure is cuticle oil. It is used at the very final stage of manicure to moisturize and nourish the cuticle and nail plate. To trim your nails and cuticles, you need to use nail clippers or scissors. You should pay attention to the sharpness of the blades: they must be well sharpened, otherwise there is a risk of injuring the cuticle and skin around the nail plate. However, if this is impossible without injury, you can use special means - hemostatic drugs.
Nail scissors are not pressed very tightly to the skin, so they are more difficult to remove cuticles. It is recommended to use nail scissors for this purpose. Olton nail scissors are very popular: they are well-sharpened by hand and are sold in a leather case. Stalex manicure tools do not lag behind their competitors - they are slightly cheaper in price, but no worse in quality. Manicure milling machines are used for professional purposes. They are used for correcting artificial nails, hardware manicure and removing gel polish. A nail clipper is a very versatile device that every master should have on hand .
