The ELAN SUPERSONIC expert system is intended for performing the flexing procedure for eyebrows and eyelashes.

ELAN SUPERSONIC Serum is used in the first step of the brow and lash flexing procedure. It is a clear product with no tint. The formula includes two types of relaxers and two types of alkalizers that quickly and effectively remodel the disulfide bonds in the hair, reducing the duration of the procedure. It also contains a care complex based on keratin and collagen, which prevents dehydration and brittleness of the hairs.

How the Serum works:

• Thanks to the combination of two types of alkalizers (AMMONIUM HYDROXIDE and ETHANOLAMINE), the serum opens the hair cuticles, allowing the components to easily penetrate inside;
• The combination of two types of relaxers (THIOGLYCOLIC ACID and CYSTEAMINE HCL) acts on the disulfide bonds, quickly and effectively remodeling them;
• The care complex based on keratin and collagen protects the protein structures of eyebrow and eyelash hairs during the procedure, prevents dehydration and brittleness, and helps retain moisture in the hairs;
• Adds elasticity to the hairs.

STAGES OF THE LASH FLEXING PROCEDURE

1. Determine the exposure time for the SUPERSONIC expert system products by analyzing the client’s hair condition

   Group 1: Thick or straight lashes — exposure time 6–10 minutes for Serum 1 and at least 6 minutes for Serum 2.

   Group 2: Medium or thin lashes — exposure time 3–6 minutes for Serum 1 and at least 6 minutes for Serum 2.

   Multivitator exposure time is 5 minutes for all hair types.

   IMPORTANT! The maximum exposure time for Serum 1 and Serum 2 is 15 minutes.

   IMPORTANT! The effectiveness of Serum 1 and 2 depends on room temperature — the higher the temperature, the faster the reaction.

2. Preparation for the lash flexing procedure

   – Clean the lashes and brow area using ÉLAN Detox Mousse.

   – Fix a silicone roller of the required size to the upper eyelid.

   – Distribute and fix the lashes onto the roller using ÉLAN Lash Lamination Fixing Gel.

3. Creating the lash curl – applying Serum 1

   – Using a makeup brush, apply Serum 1 to the curl formation zone.

   – Remove product residue with a dry brush after the exposure time, following the hair growth direction.

4. Fixing the direction of lashes – applying Serum 2

   – Apply Serum 2 in a thick layer over the entire lash area.

   – Remove the product with a dry brush after the exposure time, following the hair growth direction.

5. Lash care using the Multivitator

   – Apply the Multivitator across the entire lash area. Exposure time – 5 minutes.

   – Remove any residue and fixing gel using a damp cotton pad or swab after the exposure time.

   IMPORTANT! For the most defined and visible results, ÉLAN brand technologists recommend performing lash tinting after the flexing procedure. Use ÉLAN gel tint in shade “01 black”.

   – At the final stage, apply the cleansing detox mousse to the lashes. Remove the foam with a damp cotton pad.

   – To lock in the result, apply the COLOUR FIX fluid with keratin and sunflower oil to the lashes.

   POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR LASH AND BROW FLEXING

   ! It is not recommended to tint eyebrows with henna or bleach them, as the result may be unpredictable. Hair structure may be damaged (dry, dull hairs), leading to breakage and loss.

   ! Within 24 hours after the procedure, avoid visiting baths, saunas, tanning salons, or disturbing the shaped brows or lash curls (e.g., sleeping face-down). Minimize water contact and avoid brushing brows and lashes.

   ! For 48 hours after the procedure, avoid exposing brows and lashes to aggressive cosmetic products and treatments (scrubs, peels, alcohol-based lotions, laser treatments).

Important: The “SUPERSONIC” brow and lash flexing expert system is intended for professional use only! Serum 1, Serum 2, and the Multivitator must be used together. Pink-colored Serum 1 is designed for lash flexing.
