DARK Smart Builder Gel is a sculpting gel designed for strengthening, extending, and repairing nails. It has a medium-thick consistency. The gel color palette includes a wide range of beautiful natural shades, so every nail technician can find the perfect tone for themselves and their clients. The gel has a unique formula that allows for easy application, optimal viscosity, and no running, giving complete control during the sculpting process. All DARK hard gels are acid-free. They are certified in both Europe and Ukraine, registered in the CPNP system, and **not tested on animals**.
Advantages:
- Convenient for application on both short and long nails;
- High-temperature resistant, which allows for good pinching (C-curve formation);
- Recommended to cure at low power and briefly remove the hand if a burning sensation occurs;
- Strong yet not brittle.
How is SMART GEL different from other builder gels?
- More fluid consistency, yet it remains hard after curing;
- No sticky dispersion layer after curing;
- No need to remove the sticky layer from DARK base before applying the gel;
- No need to remove a sticky layer before applying top coat;
- Minimal risk of lifting.

- Apply a thin layer of transparent SCOTCH BASE using rubbing motions and cure for 60 seconds.
- Perform strengthening or extension with Dark Smart Builder Gel. Cure for 60–90 seconds at 48W (depending on the pigment density).
- If needed, remove the sticky layer and file the nail.
- Apply top coat and cure for 90 seconds in a nail lamp.
WORKING TIPS:
- Cures easily when working with dual forms;
- Pinch the gel at the 12–15 second mark;
- Intermediate curing of about 15 seconds is possible;
- Do not push the gel too deep under the cuticle; ensure a smooth, thin transition near the cuticle;
- If strengthening natural nails, always file your natural nail at least 1 mm from the underside to prevent lifting at the free edge;
- If using a base from another brand, it’s recommended to remove the sticky layer before applying the gel;
- The more transparent the gel, the harder it is after curing;
- If the gel thickens in a cold room, you can gently warm it (not in the container, but by transferring the needed amount to a palette);
- Gels with glitter should be stirred before use.
